In real, when plan is being drafted out, its a matter of implementation or in accordance to any plan direction.
Adhering to the planning instruction is also crucial in ensuring if the planning works.
Hence the preparation of the 'plan' is a bigger task to ensure the 'enforcement' of plan is sufficient enough to implementation steps.
I have prepare countless plans and drawing and plots to many of my client.
Some works just beautiful, when you realised they 'buy' your planning and implementation works is as scheduled and as per 'plan'.
Some were 'so-so' as they may not understand the relevancy and the accuracy merely base upon lined 'plan'.That's how I regards this plan as a fail plan. Somehow; this category of group is to its minimum as most plan are being scrutinized and amended more than once before the implementation as it requires client to agree upon and their agreement signifies their desired intent that are being interpreted by me or my team to their utmost requirement.
Of course I do have client who doesn't know shit about plan and its planning; we sell them the plan and at the mean time preparing the most realistic 'plan' to them for their views and least misunderstanding.
The kick start of a plan in an early stage reduce a lot of discrepancy in later stage of works, provided it is being taken care of in a proper and contended way.
Yet, the real problem within a plan has always been a fundamental paradox in resolving planning of myself.
I plan a lot, short term plan, mid term plan and to the of forecast plan; so much so that I lost track of the actual content of my initial planning.Indulging and procrastinate too long in a plan contributes also towards the failure of my plan. Sometimes 'Timeframe' is also added in the vocab of planning. its so much of the restriction for me to not adhered to the timeframe in a planning. Fasttracking does not help either in planning; it only cause more chaos and chaotic. The stake is even higher and the consequence is sometimes fatal.
In every job every task I am counter take now, I have a deep thought and a greater consideration not of its beauty or the end result but more of its consequence and after affect.
